CR 522

 

CR 522 runs east-west from South Brunswick to Freehold.

Promenade Boulevard / CR 522 Arterial:

Promenade Boulevard, the westernmost section of CR 522 is a four-lane arterial (high speed with traffic lights).

The multilane CR 522 arterial presently ends at US 130, and CR 522 turns onto US 130 to reach Ridge Road. Eventually, the CR 522 expressway will extend to Ridge Road just west of the New Jersey Turnpike / I-95 bridge.

This traffic signal makes it clear that the CR 522 expressway will extend eastwards.

Fresh Ponds Road will be realigned to intersect the future alignment of CR 522.
