CR 547 begins at NJ 70.

CR 547 at the main entrance of Naval Air Station Lakehurst. This is a seagull T-intersection where CR 547 NB has a bypass lane.

Monmouth County:

South of NJ 33:

What is with Monmouth County's style of sign?

Better. That sign doesn't look as ugly. Just before CR 547 junctions NJ 34 / NJ 33 and starts a concurrency with the latter.

CR 547 Spur:

CR 547 Spur is the short segment of Wyckoff Road between NJ 34 and NJ 33. This is made to connect NJ 34 NB to CR 547 NB. Monmouth County considers this as part of the CR 547 mainline (how is that possible?!), while NJDOT recognizes this as a spur.

NB, CR 547 Spur is just signed as a TO.

Why is Monmouth County failing to add even an S to this overhead sign blade?!

CR 547 north of NJ 33:

The end of CR 547 in Long Branch. But why isn't it signed as CR 547? This used to be CR 537 until the Avenue of Memories was opened through former Fort Monmouth. When the Avenue of Memories opened, CR 537 was transferred onto the Avenue and CR 547 received the former eastern terminus of CR 537.
