I-376

A major highway that connects Pittsburgh to I-80, I-79, and I-76.

Penn-Lincoln Parkway West (former I-279):

At I-79, the Penn-Lincoln Parkway formerly gained the I-279 designation until that designation was truncated in 2010.

The Fort Pitt Tunnel, how I-376 enters Pittsburgh EB. This tunnel is unassuming and looks like a rural mountain area, but on the other side, there is a large city.

The Fort Pitt Bridge. See the incredible views of Pittsburgh.

See the video for the transition from the Fort Pitt Tunnel / Bridge. This is one of the grandest gateways into a city.

I-376 "exits" the bridge because I-279 was the original mainline until I-376 was extended in 2010.

Now heading WB out of the city. Look at how crammed these signs are and how tight the lane shifts are.

The northern/eastern portals of the Fort Pitt Tunnel. Notice the two deafferent elevations the EB and WB lanes leave from because of the Fort Pitt Bridge.

Penn-Lincoln Parkway East:

The Penn-Lincoln Parkway East (commonly called Parkway East) was the original extent of I-376 before the designation was extended in 2010.

These piers are the remnants of the Wabash Bridge.
