I-57 in Illinois

I-57 is the longest interstate in Illinois, serving as a bypass of the St. Louis area for traffic heading from Memphis to Chicago. This page originally would have included the Missouri segment, but because of the southward extension of I-57 to Arkansas, the Missouri and Arkansas segments warrant their own pages.

I-57 junctions I-74 northwest of Champaign. The interchange is being reconstructed to become a three-level cloverstack to eliminate the weaving the former cloverleaf design had.
