IN 225 is a connector highway between IN 25 and IN 43. Or at least used to be. IN 225 connects to an old alignment of IN 25 because its parent route has been placed on the Hoosier Heartland Highway. The road is most notable for the Jewettsport Ford Bridge, as well as for passing through the town of Battle Ground.

The start of IN 225 as seen from the old alignment of IN 25.

Signs at the southern end of IN 225 at the old alignment of IN 25. There used to be signs for IN 25 here, but those were dismounted when IN 25 was moved on the Hoosier Heartland Highway. There could be a way to extend IN 225 so that it can junction with IN 25. Just get INDOT to redesignate old IN 25 and North County Road 500 East (the name comes from surveyors) as IN 225 from old IN 25 down to the quadrant interchange with modern IN 25.
IN 225 goes through the floodplains of the Wabash River, before ascending onto the Jewettsport Ford Bridge. This bridge dates back to 1912 and is the longest riveted Pratt truss bridge in Indiana. The bridge is one lane and has been standing (with renovations) because of how little traffic the route carries. Traffic signals and vehicle detectors on both ends determine which direction is allowed to use the bridge. The bridge is currently closed for repairs.
IN 225 passes near Prophetstown State Park.

IN 225 passes through Battle Ground. In the town center after crossing the railroad, IN 225 is known as North Street.
IN 225 ends at IN 43.
