A generally straightforward route. Follows Mount Pleasant Avenue (with some deviations) from US 46 in Ledgewood to CR 577 in West Orange. The US 46 junction is a T-intersection, but used to be a circle. It is still known by many locals as the Ledgewood Circle, even if the circle has been gone for some time. NJ 10 may have extended east into Jersey City, but I don't know how far east NJ 10 actually extended back then.

The western terminus of NJ 10 at US 46. This is the former Ledgewood Circle. US 46 completes the connection to I-80.
NJ 10 at US 202.
I-287 and NJ 10 junction at a modified turbine interchange that gets rid of weaving. This was the southern terminus of an original segment of I-287 built to bypass Lake Parsippany. The road was originally unnumbered and connected NJ 10 to US 46.
Diagrammatic and directional signs at the QuickChek on the corner of NJ 10 and Jefferson Road. Although you can use Ukraine Road if the left turn is clear to access I-287 and NJ 10 WB.
Town hall for Hanover Township is located along NJ 10.
A US 10 overhead at the traffic signal with Jefferson Road. How did this get through the sign shop, especially on a state highway? US 10 never even reached New Jersey when it was at its maximum extent, only going as far as Michigan!
The Whippany Railway Museum is located along NJ 10.
The old alignment of NJ 10 in East Hanover, now Morris/Essex CR 610. This is a section of Mount Pleasant Avenue that could not be upgraded, or a bunch of yards and houses would have been taken.
Overkill signage at NJ 10's traffic signal with New Murray Road. A simple NO TURNS can do.
CR 508 starts here at the Livingston Circle, where NJ 10 intersects both the western end of CR 508 as well as Essex CR 609 (Eisenhower Parkway), the through route. However, the circle is shaped more like an ellipse with the longer arcs going to NJ 10, so NJ 10 can also be seen as a through route. By the way, both CR 508 and NJ 10 lead to the Oranges and Newark, but NJ 10 seems like the more straightforward route and NJDOT seems to want people to stay on NJDOT roads to reach their destinations.
NJ 10 in Livingston as it intersects CR 527.
The eastern terminus of NJ 10 at CR 577 and CR 577 Spur*. Just like NJ 23, an interesting end for a state route, ending in the middle of two county routes. Just extend NJ 10 to I-280, please! Let this road have a logical end, and let I-280 carry NJ 10 traffic to Newark.
*CR 577 Spur is de jure Essex CR 677.
