The old alignment of US 206 through Netcong and Stanhope. Surprisingly, this route could be a little more straightforward than US 206, but US 206 was rerouted along I-80 and a new alignment because a portion of the US 206 freeway in Sussex County was built. The freeway was never fully built, though. So this leaves us with NJ 183.
NJ 183 intersects US 46 at the former Netcong Circle.
