NJ 37

NJ 37 connects NJ 70 in Lakehurst to Seaside Heights. The road was originally planned to extend all the way to Trenton as either a surface road (see bridge inscriptions on CR 539 and CR 524 with NJH 37 on them) or a freeway that would have intersected the proposed NJ 38 freeway. Eventually, a singular freeway was built, but that was I-195.
