NJ State Route Abbreviations

Pre-1927 = NJSHR

This is based on bridge inscriptions from before 1927 for state highways. All of these inscriptions read STATE HIGHWAY ROUTE X.

1927-1953 = NJH

This is based on old cutout shields that read NEW JERSEY HIGHWAY on them. Just like before 1927, bridge inscriptions from this era still read STATE HIGHWAY ROUTE X. However, I already use NJSHR for pre-1927 highways, so I needed a new abbreviation.
