NY 293

NY 293 connects West Point and US 9W to US 6 and points southwest such as Harriman. In fact, NY 293 is the original route of US 6 from Harriman to the Bear Mountain Bridge. US 6 was later routed onto the Long Mountain Parkway to bypass West Point. However, trucks cannot use the Long Mountain Parkway, so they must use NY 293 to reach the Bear Mountain Bridge.
