NY 9A / Henry Hudson Parkway

The majority of the Henry Hudson Parkway from its start at 72nd Street to Exit 23 is NY 9A, but the northernmost segment of the Henry Hudson Parkway up to the NYC-Westchester County line (including its junction with the Mosholu Parkway) is independent of NY 9A. Personally, I would rather have NY 9A concurrent with the entirety of the Henry Hudson Parkway and extend the Henry Hudson Parkway name up to the Cross County Parkway, where the Henry Hudson, Saw Mill River, and Cross County Parkways can all begin at a tripoint.

While the Henry Hudson Parkway does not technically begin until 72nd Street, the Parkway effectively starts at 57th Street thanks to there being no complete interchange with 72nd Street. This is because of the old West Side Highway that used to exist until its 1973 collapse.
