Poisoned Ascendancy Tour at the Fillmore Detroit, 4/27/25

Second of two shows I watched during the Poisoned Ascendancy Tour. Enjoyed this one a little more than the show in the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago because the stage in Detroit was lower and I was all the way at the barricade, so the bands were at eye level.

Bleed From Within

To start such a killer lineup, you must have a strong opener.

August Burns Red

Again, another strong opener.

Wowing the crowd to start with an explosive intro and a solid scream.

Wearing a Lana Del Rey shirt at a metal show. Love it!

Trivium

It's always a pleasure to see my favorite band live, especially for the fourth time.

The triple threat of Matt Heafy, Corey Beaulieu, and Paolo Gregoletto.

Matt commanding the crowd to clap.

Paolo saluting the crowd with the metal horns, and Corey shredding away.

Bonus: Matt Heafy threw this, so I snagged it!

Bullet For My Valentine

Closing the night was Bullet For My Valentine.

Jamie, the bassist and backup vocalist. Although I think he is just as good, if not better, than Tuck at vocals.

Lead guitarist Padge (Michael Paget) shredding away.

Matt Tuck, the frontman of the band.

Bonus: Matt Tuck threw this, so I snagged it! This is actually a pick for the techs or Padge when he plays All These Things I Hate.
