While US 35 is signed N-S in Indiana and West Virginia, US 35 is signed E-W in Ohio, with EB corresponding to SB (and vice versa).

OH 735 is the original alignment of US 35 before the Silver Bridge collapsed in 1967. The Silver Bridge used to touch down in downtown Point Pleasant, WV before the collapse.
US 35 departs Ohio on the Silver Memorial Bridge. This bridge replaced the original Silver Bridge, which collapsed in a 1967 disaster.
