US 52 runs northwest-southeast through Indiana and passes near Purdue.
After overlaps with US 24 and US 41, US 52 finally has an independent alignment.
US 52 follows the US 231 bypass west of West Lafayette.
To get onto the new alignment, US 52 is routed onto Teal Road from the Sagamore Parkway. Former US 52 is the Sagamore Parkway, which still has some erroneous signage as if it was US 52.
What's with the extra green space in this sign? Did the sign shop cut this improperly? And what's that patched over? Probably an arrow.
After US 52 merges onto I-65, US 52 follows I-65, I-865, and I-465 before exiting to head east.
An old stub alignment of US 52 still exists near I-65 interchange 141. The stub is used as a driveway to a towing company.
