CR 521 is the westernmost north-south 500-series CR. It connects Hope in Warren County to the New York state line in Sussex County, near Port Jervis. This route has a long concurrency with US 206, following US 206 all the way until US 206 takes the Milford-Montague Toll Bridge.
Warren County:
The beginning of CR 521 at CR 519 in Hope.
CR 521 comes to an interchange with I-80/
CR 521 crosses over the Lackawanna Cut-Off on new bridges. This seems like nothing special, but this is preparing for the eventual restoration of the Lackawanna Cut-Off to Scranton.

CR 521 has a short wrong-way overlap with NJ 94.
CR 521 departs from NJ 94 in Blairstown at an interesting intersection. CR 521 (Stillwater Road) and NJ 94 come in at an acute angle, and Bridge Street intersects perpendicularly.
CR 521 enters Sussex County at Stillwater Township.
CR 521 in the village of Stillwater.

CR 521 in Middleville.
After a long concurrency, the northern junction of CR 521 and US 206. Here, CR 521 reemerges as an independent route just before the Milford-Montague Toll Bridge where US 206 enters Pennsylvania and CR 521 runs along the last few miles of northern New Jersey towards Port Jervis.
This might be the only US 6 shield in New Jersey.
Ugliness across the border in New York.

This sign might be the northernmost sign for a 500-series county route I've seen. At US 6 in Port Jervis, but I'd say this is worth putting on the CR 521 page. Also, a case of the straight arrow banner being turned 90 degrees to point right.
