CR 560

CR 560 currently serves to connect US 206 to the Dingman's Ferry Bridge / PA 739. CR 560 is also the main street of Layton. However, there is more history to CR 560 than just the Dingman's Ferry Bridge. Together with Old Mine Road, CR 560 from the US 206 junction to Old Mine Road used to be routing of CR 521, with the Dingman's Ferry Bridge approach undesignated. After some time, CR 521 was rerouted to have an even longer concurrency with US 206, CR 560 was established, and the Dingman's Ferry Bridge finally received a designation on the New Jersey side. This is the shortest 500-series county route in New Jersey, at only 5 miles.

The route is entirely in Sussex County.

The Dingman's Ferry Bridge. The only toll bridge across the Delaware that charges in both directions. But it's still a bit of a discount compared to bridges further upstream or downstream.

And at this bridge on Christmas Day, the toll to cross, you don't need to pay.

CR 560 makes a turn to enter / leave Layton. It's US 206, not SR 206.

CR 560 in Sandyston.

Ennis Road / CR 615 has been closed for a long time. The bridge has been washed out since who knows when.

The end of CR 560 at US 206 / CR 521.
