Is this one truly north-south, or east-west? Take your pick, because Camden is further north than Seaview Resort in Galloway, but CR 561 is perpendicular to multiple true north-south routes.
Atlantic County:
What kind of ugliness is that sign? At the CR 561 and CR 674 junction on the Galloway-Egg Harbor City border.
CR 561 at the northern terminus of CR 561 Alternate.
Interesting way to abbreviate ToWnShiP.
Horrendous ugliness at the same intersection, heading southbound.
CR 561 intersects US 30, which it runs parallel to. The only reason for this intersection is because US 30 swings north to bypass downtown Hammonton.
CR 561 in downtown Hammonton. Here, CR 561 intersects NJ 54, a true north-south route, at a 90-degree angle. Proof that CR 561 is east-west. And how about this: for one block, CR 561 NB has a wrong-way concurrency with NJ 54 SB while heading SB according to the compass!
Camden County:
CR 561 is the southern end of NJ 143.
At the NJ 73 and CR 561 concurrency. This sign is missing a lot. It's missing the NJ 73 sign, and it's missing a directional banner for NORTH.
NJ 154 begins at CR 561.
CR 561 in Haddonfield.
A white background on the sign blade.
