US 136 goes halfway across Indiana, from the Illinois state line to Indianapolis. US 136 used to intersect its parent in Indianapolis but was truncated to I-465 / I-74. US 36 was rerouted onto the I-465 beltway but doesn't intersect US 136. Why did INDOT allow US 136 to be abandoned by its parent like that? Terrible I-465.
