One of Maryland's most notable concurrencies. While most people know the road as simply "Route 50", this concurrency is significant because of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.





US 50 / US 301 cross the Severn River.












US 50 / US 301 use the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. At 4 miles over water, this is the longest bridge in Maryland. This is also considered one of the scariest bridges in the United States.


The inner lane on the 1973 westbound span can be reversed to carry eastbound traffic.
