Madison Avenue (former IN 431)

When IN 431 was first designated, it was made to cover old alignments of US 31 in the Indianapolis area. The southern segment of IN 431 was Madison Avenue in Greenwood. The northern segment of IN 431 was Westfield Boulevard from Meridian Street to 116th Street, where Westfield Boulevard became Rangeline Road at the Carmel city limit.

Madison Avenue comes to East Street, where the southern IN 431 ended and US 31 continued north.
